2016 Maintenance Co-ops Project Conference

Booking opens end August 2016 - we're working on the final programme and details.

Come and join us at Friends House (opposite Euston Station) in London on Monday 3 October 2016 for our final free conference to celebrate the successes of the SPAB’s Maintenance Co-operatives Project and look forward to what will happen after the project finishes in March 2017. Travel bursaries for volunteers will be available. You will be able to:

  • Hear from volunteers who have been involved with active Maintenance Co-ops already
  • Have a one-to-one maintenance surgery with one of our technical team
  • Take part in free workshops on conservation and maintenance
  • Network with       other volunteers and heritage and conservation professionals

We will round off the day with post-conference drinks at the Cosy Kettle bar downstairs in the Somers Town Coffee House (5 minutes’ walk from the venue and halfway between Euston and Kings Cross stations). The event is free, and includes lunch, tea and coffee throughout the day. There are travel bursaries for volunteers available, to help with the cost of travel and accommodation. The conference will start at 10.30, finish at 4.30, and with drinks till 7pm.

We can provide Certificates of Attendance for CPD purposes.
