LPW Roof Repair Fund – Second Round grants awarded
Decisions on applications made in the second round of the Listed Places of Worship Roof Repair Fund progamme were made at the NHMF Board meeting on 28 June and announced on 6 July 2016.
Awards of between £10,000 and £100,000 have been offered towards the urgent repairs of roofs, gutters and drains, failure of which is the principle cause of decay in historic churches.
In total, 401 listed places of worship will benefit from awards from the second round budget of £25 million. This follows the 501 awards announced in the first round in Spring 2015.
